A true historical name in the whisky industry and a firm favourite of lovers of Single Malt. Springbank has been owned by the Mitchel family for close to 200 years and still does everything from barley to bottle on site, the only distillery to do this for its entire production. There is a variety of malt whisky made at Spingbank, with a triple distilled spirit named Hazelburn and a heavily peated malt named Longrow. Both named after lost distilleries of Campbeltown. Springbank just 150,000 litres a year as if they increased production they would not be able to do everything themselves.
Springbank is open to visitors.
