Laphroaig has enjoyed huge popularity over the years, currently the number one selling Islay malt and in the top seven over all. This has lead Laphroaig to be inventive with its maturation to produce enough to keep up with demand. Over the years we have seen the Quarter Cask, the Triple Wood and special editions like the Lore. The 10 year old remains in the core range, most likely due to these other whiskies taking the pressure off. Laphroaig produces around 3 million litres a year of spirit.
Laphroaig is open to visitors.
