Royal Brackla

One of three distilleries in Scotland to be allowed the use of 'Royal' in its name, and was indeed the first to do so. Royal Brackla was a relatively small and unknown distillery for most of its life until it was bought by Bacardi as part of a deal for the Dewars brand. Even then it took Bacardi almost two decades to release a core range. This was done, thankfully, very successfully and now a 12, 16 and 21 year old are available. Royal Brackla has two sets of still making around three and a half million litres of spirit a year.
