Kilchoman

Kilchoman is the baby of the Islay distilleries both in size and age. The distillery only opened its doors in 2005 but has received incredible acclaim from there first bottling of Machir Bay onwards. Kilchoman use as much Islay barley as they can with around a quarter of it coming from around the distillery itself. As said Kilchoman is small, it has just two stills making only 200,000 litres of alcohol a year.

Kilchoman is open to visitors.
