  • The nose opens with ripe summer fruits, dry oak and hints of dark chocolate. Tannin comes through subtly, letting a slight spicy character come forward. Drop of water brings out a blackcurrant jam style sweetness.

The palate opens up rather dry but with the summer fruits still there, although more balanced with the influence of gentle spice and dried fruits. Water softens the edges, takes away slightly from the spice but allows the fruits to shine through.

Finish is medium with rich summer fruit dominating. Leaves behind that dry okay note once it has been sent down.
