Dalmore 12 year old
A luxurious single malt from the Highlands of Scotland. Located near village of Alness. Dalmore sits overlooking the Cromarty Firth. On Dalmore bottles you will find a grand silver stags head. The story of this dates back to 1263, when Colin of Kintail, Chief of the clan Mackenzie, saved King Alexander III of Scotland from a charging stag. As a reward the grateful King granted him lands and also the right to use the 12-pointed Royal Stag as the Mackenzie clan crest.
On the nose, Christmas shopping! Memories of popping into a high street coffee shop to warm with a cinnamon chocolate latte dash of vanilla on top with some fruit cake on the side, on the palate toffee orange chocolate and on the finish mellow with orange figs and subtle spice.
