Glenallachie, located at the foot of Ben Rinnes was originally opened in 1967 and used mainly within the Chivas Brothers blends. In 2018 the distillery was taken over and started to produce a core range of single malts headed by Billy Walker.
Secondary aged in Spanish oak casks. They are hogsheads made of oak from regions of Galicia and Asturias, specifically from the forests of the Cantabrian Mountains, which have a cool, humid climate.

Nose: Lashings of orchard fruits, baking spices and sticky toffee pudding, with notes of brown sugar, glazed cherries and citrus.
Palate: Bursting with chocolate, coffee and heather honey, followed by notes of pepper, ginger and molasses, with banana and sultanas on the finish
