Strathisla

This year marked 230 years old production making Strathisla one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, and to this day is the most photographed by far. Anyone who has been will have no trouble understanding why. The home of Chivas Regal and heart of the blend since its conception in the early 1900's, Strathisla is becoming more and more a distillery in its own right. Matured solely in ex bourbon casks, its signature 12 year old Single Malt is a gentle, fruity whisky and its older bottlings are something to behold. Strathisla houses two sets of still making a moderate 2.5 millions litres a year.
