Deanston 12 year old, Single Malt Whisky, 70cl
One of the more recently established distilleries. Nestled in the town of Doune, Deanston distillery is relatively new compared to its peers only opening its doors as a distillery in 1966. Beforehand the site had been a cotton mill founded by Richard Arkwright and had housed the largest water wheel in Europe. Today Deanston distillery still harnesses the power of the river Teith to power itself and many of the surrounding houses.
