Single Malt whisky is in a way the more traditional style of and an integral part of the whisky industry today. As with all Scotch Whisky they must be made with Scottish water and matured on Scottish soil for a minimum of three years in oak casks. Only three ingredients are permitted to produce Single Malt whisky, water, barley and yeast. Finally everything in your bottle of Single Malt Scotch Whisky must be the product of one distillery, this is where the single part comes in. Explore and enjoy them, with such variety there is definitely a Scotch whisky out there for you.
