Tullibardine 24 Old Particular
Possibly the oldest distillery in Scotland, they have definitely been brewing since 1488, and still to this day. The distillery was moth-balled for a lot of the 1990's only to be reopened in 2004. This bottle is from their older stock, from before the mothballing, bottled by Douglas Laing.
Nose: waxy oranges followed by toast and rich Scottish runny honey
Palate: a home-baking character developing to meaty Malt and maple syrup
