Togouchi is matured in a unique setting, within a 361 meter long tunnel that dates back to 1970. This offers a constant temperature of 14°C and 80% humidity for perfect aging. Chugoko Jozo's master blender adds a special Japanese touch to the process by sourcing the malt and grain following scrupulous criteria and personally taking care of the maturation and blending process himself.
Togouchi Premium Blended Whisky is a marriage of Scottish malt and Canadian grain aged in the town of Togouchi. Unusually, the ageing process takes place in a tunnel rather than the warehouse.
Elegant aromas of hazelnuts and freshly-cut grass. The palate is sweet and gentle with honey, white pepper and nutmeg tones, and the finish is smooth and spiced.
