Bottled under the name of the village two miles south of Bruichladdich 

The PC is heavily peated to 40ppm, putting it up with Islay's other big names. Aged for 9 years and distilled in 2012. A combination of sherry butts and first and second fill American whiskey barrels were recasked at different points of maturation into some of the finest Sauternes wine casks from the left bank of the Garonne River in Bordeaux.

  • Nose: Sweet with hints of pinneapple and peaches. Demerera sugar, caramel and marizpan followed by notes of heather. Peat smoke and warm toasted oak come throgh for complexity. 

    Palate: Olight peat smoke and fruit. Oily and deep flavour. Beneath the peat smoke is an earthy leather flavour. The oak brings strength and a vanilla sweetness. chocolate and citrus compliment waves of fruit. 

    Finish: GMarine notes and earthy peat smoke linger on palate withh citrus.
