Taketsuru built his second distillery in 1969, built as an all in one distillery housing traditional pot stills in various shapes and sizes and column stills. This meant that they could effectively create a blend at one distillery.
A mellow peat note with soot and salt. Orange and liqourice with fruity hints of melon and kiwi fruit. A silky finish with peat and pear drops.
