Lagavulin Distillers Edition
Considering that Lagavulin 16 year old is already matured in ex bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, the Lagavulin Distillers Edition is in fact triple matured. It's final maturation being around 12 months in Pedro Ximinez.
Dark chocolate sauce poured over the embers of a campfire. An incredibly evocative single malt with a wonderful balance between the bonfire wood smoke, the dried fruits of the Oloroso sherry and the sweet dark chocolate of the Pedro Ximinez.
