Highland Park Dark Origins
Released to celebrate the dark past of Highland Park distillery in a time of illegal distillig and villaneous tax collectors. Magnus Eunson worked in the church by day but by night distilled the spirit that would be the birth of Highland Park.
With a higher peat content than other Highland Park malts and using a large amount of first fill sherry casks this is an intense whisky. Bonfire smoke and sweet stewed fruits, with prunes, dates and brown sugar. A well balanced finish and sweet toffee and charcoal.
