Nose: opens with rich, smoke covered toffee. Smoke is very unique, almost gunpowder. Reminds me of the smell of firing cap guns as a child. This builds over time in the glass, bringing in new leather, spices and classic sherry cask dried fruit notes.

Palate: continues with the gunpowder smoke but is joined by dark chocolate, espresso and red apple. Creamy almost fruit yoghurt note. Baked orchard fruits and a hint of raisins. Time in glass brings out more cereal quality

Finish: long, leaving behind smoke, barrel spice and orchard fruit.
