Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old Douglas Laing Old Particular
The Bunnahabhain 12 year old is lightly peated for an Islay single malt and consequently is a light, fresh tasting malt. An Islay with a difference this is a whisky and everyone must try at some point.
Here we have a single cask Bunnahabhain, released by the fine folks at Douglas Laing. Only 331 bottles were charged from the cask for this release.
Burnt treacle, honeycomb and dried fruits on the nose. A full bodied malt, with black pepper, butterscotch and stewed fruits. A long oily finish with a touch of wood smoke.
