The nose is pure raisin and plum jam inside an orange tartlet. Dense and rich fruit gives way to more sweet fruits, think British summer berries and a slight hint of caramel. Time in the glass turns the citrus into a slightly more bitter note, also allows the caramel to come forward and become a little more prominent.

The palate opens entirely different to the nose, honey/toffee apples and redcurrant jus. Classic sherry spice's are present, cinnamon, nutmeg but not over powering. A little time in the glass brings out a cracked pepper note and brings back the citrus from the nose.

The finish is complex yet only medium. Spicy berries and apples linger after it has been sent down.
