A blended malt from a selection of Islay distillery's , Angels' Nectar Islay Edition is a smoky, coastal whisky. It is released as part of the Angel's Nectar series from Highfern.

  • Nose: Very rich on the nose, with aromas of butter toffees, stewed fruit, brine and preserved lemons. Fresh notes of pine and menthol, too.

    Palate: Plenty of peat and smoke, but balanced by a rich sweetness, along with apple slices fried in butter, toffee chews and some background cinnamon from the cask. Smooth mouthfeel and good weight.

    Finish: The rich, smoky peat gently fades.
