Okayama Single Malt
While Miyashita Shuzo has had a long history of brewing sake and producing shochu, the Okayama distillery was only founded in 2011 when whisky production began. This is the first release of a single malt whisky from the distillery. Okayama is a traditional barley growing region of Japan and the half of the barley used at Okayama distillery is locally grown, more than any other Japanese distillery.
A fresh and lively malt whisky with tropical fruits and a gentle fragrant note of lavender. A smooth soft finish.
