A limited bottling from Lindores Abbey Distillery. Matured exclusively in STR wine barrels, one of the three core casks of Lindores. This Lindores Single Malt is bottled at the distillery at their unique limited edition strength of 49.4%.
Nestled in the ruins of one of the most important buildings in whisky history, Lindores Abbey have been producing a spirit based off of a recipe from 1494 for a few years, but now, we have some fantastic whisky to enjoy from these fine people.
Nose: Herbs, tannins, dark fruits, vanilla, more vegetal than sugary sweetness, slight calvados style note
Palate: dried fruit, citrus, and creamy light notes. Sweet citrus in syrup notes
Finish: Hit of sweet vanilla fruit before fading away.
