Deanston 2008 Brandy Cask Finish
Nestled in the town of Doune, Deanston distillery is relatively new compared to its peers only opening its doors as a distillery in 1966. Beforehand the site had been a cotton mill founded by Richard Arkwright and had housed the largest water wheel in Europe. Today Deanston distillery still harnesses the power of the river Teith to power itself and many of the surrounding houses.
This whisky is was finished in Brandy Casks for the final 2 years of Maturation
