Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old Douglas Laing Old Particular, Single Malt Whisky, 70cl
The Bunnahabhain 12 year old is lightly peated for an Islay single malt and consequently is a light, fresh tasting malt. An Islay with a difference this is a whisky and everyone must try at some point.
Here we have a single cask Bunnahabhain, released by the fine folks at Douglas Laing. Only 331 bottles were charged from the cask for this release.
Nose: Peppery malt and salted caramel, plus a hint of golden hay.
Palate: Orange boiled sweeties, rock pools, crunchy brown sugar.
Finish: Cloudy lemonade, driftwood.
