A powerful combination of peat, earth, smoke and medicinal characters are abundant on the nose. However the more you take in the more flavours you get, burnt sugar, sweet maraschino cherries and lighter notes like peach.
The palate is packed with a strong bitter taste of peat, the palate does ease up and bring some fruits along with seaweed.
The finish is surprisingly sweet and fruity, burnt toffee and a creamy long lasting taste that leaves a hint of plum.
