Bruichladdich’s Botanist Boutique Gin

Made at Bruichladdich malt distillery on the majestic and often windswept island of Islay using their recently acquired spirit still nicknamed Ugly Betty, the Botanist gin is an uncommon break from malt production for the Progressive Hebridean Distiller. Produced using only botanicals native to the island, the Botanist is a satisfyingly smooth, long and aromatic gin, blending rich, tannic spices with a lingering, warming herbal character which builds to a mild mint overtone; surprisingly mild-mannered and refined on the palate, the Botanist is perfectly enjoyable neat, but with it’s abundant complexity, would suit perfectly to cocktail use or the classic tonic dilution.

Christian Audigier Sauvignon Blanc 2010

A surprsing Sauvignon Blanc with notes of boxwood and white flowers. Crisp with aromas of citrus, exotic fruit and buttery toast. Fresh and elegant it can be enjoyed on its own or with seafood and soft cheeses.
