Bunnahabhain 12 Yr Old 70cl
With the well-weathered mariner, resolutely surveying the waters ahead as it’s emblem, Bunnahabhain is symbolic of the rugged yet refined beauty of the island of Islay. An uncommonly found malt, the vast majority of the distillery’s output being reserved for blending, Bunnahabhain is both an exacting example of a well-balanced malt and so too a fine and accessible introduction to the often complex Islay style. Matured partly in ex-Sherry casks, Bunnahabhain boasts an uncommon sweetness few of it’s neighbours can offer and is, as such, a perfect compromise of softness and complexity; opening with the characteristic black pepper peat-spiciness and developing to a rich, tarry maritime structure, gently spiced with aromatic, sea-salt undertones; before a long, smooth and satisfying finish with lingering smoke coalescing with dry nuts, caramel and hints of chocolate.

Bunnahabhain Bespoke Maritime Glass
A bespoke glass, etched with the Bunnahabhain emblem and designed for maritime use; the underside being lightly dished, allowing for radial movement, whilst preventing the glass from tipping over completely or otherwise ejecting it’s contents-intended for use on board sea-faring vessels so as to prevent glasses spilling their [in this case] precious contents, as a result of the at times vigorous ebb and flow of the ocean.

A traditional, Scottish Fudge made with Bunnahabhain Single Malt; rich and creamy with the lingering, chocolate-influenced, sweet-smoke character of Bunnahabhain.
